South Brunswick Township has given the Kingston Village Advisory Committee (KVAC) a traffic calming plan for Mapleton bridge and a village-wide proposal for new road signage. You can receive more information from KVAC regarding these plans.

The Joint Mayors' Citizen Advisory Task Force consist of area citizens. The Advisory allows the Village a direct communication link to township officials. The focus is for Kingston to be treated as a single entity whenever possible and to improve the Quality of Life in Kingston. In addition to the Advisory, the Kingston Initiative and other organizations have played a critical partnership in the formation of Kingston as a neighborhood.

Achievements:- Appointment as Official Advisory Body by both South Brunswick and Franklin Townships
- Appropriation of over $60,000 from both townships for sidewalk and curbing improvements along Main Street.
- Installation of a AAA Pedestrian Safety Banner across Main Street in cooperation with the South Brunswick
Township Police Department. - Sponsorship of the 1St Kingston Cleanup Event.
- Founding of the Kingston Garden Club.
- Formation of a Kingston Historical Society.
